Huntress Mask - Molding by Riddle1 Huntress Mask - Molding by Riddle1
I have been meaning to redo my Huntress Mask for some time now, While its only a 1lb, now its 50% lighter, and cast a foam insert to go in it.

I tried to take photos so you can get an idea of how a molding process can work.

Its interesting to see how much work, heart, and soul goes into a cosplay costume. Well done

I just reviewed this again. Very nice mold, I always use silicone as urethane and I don't really get along all that well. It's always wonderful to see beautiful technique. Thank you for taking the time. It turned out wonderfully.

your welcome :) its much easier to show pictures then explain, but depending on the item and the final output, depends on the technique :D

Oh I understand completely. When I started making molds it was terrible. Now things are much better. I forget that it's almost impossible to explain it to someone without showing them. It's nice to see that you put the effort into making a nice piece, I always enjoy when you have a new costume come out. Hopefully we'll run into each other at D*con.

Cheers,

Steven

Thanks for taking the pics! Sometimes when I read GSTQ's tutorial I'm a little lost because of the lack of visuals, so this helps a lot.

I'm a very visual person, especially because not everyone uses the same terms or knows the terms the same way others do :)
