TNT Comic Expo, Mexico City April 29th - May 2nd

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 21, 2011, 10:10 PM
Things-Not-Seen l Facebook l Gallery l dA Portfolio l Watch Me l Note Me l Journal Skins: How-To

In less then a week yours truly will be hopping on a plane and making her way down to Mexico City to attend TNT Expo.

I'm really excited, not only to have this awesome opportunity but I get to go with my good friend and costuming buddy, Jenny Barclay, who has been there once before and told me how much fun TNT was!
You have probably seen her before, she its a very talented cosplayer, and she was Babe Sapien and the Monarch (with my Hellgirl and Dr mrs)

I'm terrible at learning languages, but I'm making it a priority to learn how to say.
"Where is the bathroom?"
"Can I have that with Extra cheese sauce Please"

So yeah! I'll be wearing the following costumes.

Lets just hope they AC is cranked, No one likes a sweaty cosplayer. :)

Notice how my midriff costumes are first.
That's so I can pig out on food the last two days.... and that is where the extra cheese sauce comes in.

Hopefully see some of you there!

That's what I figured :) I think every City has their bad areas, even the city I live in. Even places like New york!
Nothing anyone can say will stop me from being excited to come to TNT.

Be very careful. One of the highest kidnapping and scam cities in the world!
Some spanish tips:
Hola = hello
adios = bye
agua = water (only drink bottled water there! The stories are true.)
And dont go anywhere alone, not even the bathroom!
Other than that... enjoy!

I can't wait to see pictures!

Bathroom = Bano (pronounced Bahn-Yo). Just that, followed by "Por Favor?" (which means "please" and is pronounced "pour fah-vor") and they'll get the idea.

Cheese = Queso. (pronounces Key-So) More = Mas (pronounced mah-s) Mas Queso, por favor?

and I screwed up the Queso pronunciation. its more like "KAY-so" than "key-so"
