I know I haven't updated in awhile, I've been posting more on my FB page

Recently I opened a print store, some of the prints to help raise money for charity and some of them are to go towards new tools, materials and photoshoots for my cosplays. I have a few prints left that are 8 x 10 for hurricane Sandy, once those are gone those are gone.

I have 2 new 11x17 prints, and will be adding more prints each month. I will announce when I have new prints on my facebook page.

Please feel free to check it out~

I'll be attending Ikkicon in Austin, TX Dec 30 - Jan 1st as a cosplay guest. I think it'll be a fun way to spend NYE and I've never been to Texas before.

Though my Main goal while I'm there is to sell the Charity Cosplay Calendar I was part of with 18 other cosplayers from around the work, and artwork by Professional Comic artist.

If you can't make it to Ikkicon, you can order it on the website

We have a couple hundred left before we sell help!
Spread the word and please Help us reach our Goal!!
100% of the proceeds go to the Japanese Red Cross.

"Cosplay for a Cause 2012 Cosplay Calendar is a must have for any fan of cosplay. Rarely has something been done before with such a wide assortment of cosplayers, and who knows when you will see all these beautiful cosplayers together again. This calendar is full of high quality, never before seen photos, specifically done for this project. Each month will also come with a small illustration done by one of the 4 professional comic book artists involved in the project.

At full size the calendar will open to 11x22, allowing each beautiful image to be displayed at 11x17. The staples in the middle can be easily removed when the year is done so you can save your favorite photo!

So, here is your chance to help raise money and awareness for disaster relief in Japan while supporting your love of Cosplay! Do your part and help get the word out! And get your calendar while supplies last.

Thank you to everyone who has donated their time and energy to aiding the country that has brought us so much joy and inspiration over the years. Domo arigatou gozaimasu!"

Later this month I have 3 conventions back to back, yikes!

ANIME WEEK ATLANTA (Sept 30th - Oct 2nd): Luckily the first one is a local one, where I have been invited to participate as a judge. On friday and Sunday I will be at the Cosplay for a Cause Calendar table telling calendars and signing all day. We are going to be on the concourse just outside the dealers room!

SOFA2011 (Oct 8th-9th): A few months back I received a generous invite to go to Bogota, Colombia to be a guest. I'll be wearing Huntress and Kusanagi!

NYCC (Oct 14th - 17th): The moment I get back from Colombia, I'll be off to NYCC. Adam Hughes & Allison Sohn has been generous enough to allow me to  sell some of the Cosplay for a Cause Calendars at their table, also we will be having signings and Yaya Han will also be selling calendars during the convention at her table located at #379.

If you can't make it to one of the conventions to pick up a calendar you can order it online @

TNT Comic Expo, Mexico City April 29th - May 2nd

Things-Not-Seen l Facebook l Gallery l dA Portfolio l Watch Me l Note Me l Journal Skins: How-To

In less then a week yours truly will be hopping on a plane and making her way down to Mexico City to attend TNT Expo.

I'm really excited, not only to have this awesome opportunity but I get to go with my good friend and costuming buddy, Jenny Barclay, who has been there once before and told me how much fun TNT was!
You have probably seen her before, she its a very talented cosplayer, and she was Babe Sapien and the Monarch (with my Hellgirl and Dr mrs)

I'm terrible at learning languages, but I'm making it a priority to learn how to say.
"Where is the bathroom?"
"Can I have that with Extra cheese sauce Please"

So yeah! I'll be wearing the following costumes.

Lets just hope they AC is cranked, No one likes a sweaty cosplayer. :)

Notice how my midriff costumes are first.
That's so I can pig out on food the last two days.... and that is where the extra cheese sauce comes in.

Hopefully see some of you there!

Halloween Weekend there will be an event hosted by Capcom. You'll be able to try out the new Marvel Vs Capcom 3 before it comes out next year!

A talented group of local Costumers and myself have been asked to appear at the party in costume of the girls who will be appearing in the game.
I'm the only Marvel Character so come out and show your marvel support if you can!

The location is to be disclosed, but the date is Thursday the 28th of October, from 8pm - 11pm. You can check out the following website for details……
I started a facebook page, with hopefully an easier way to update my costume progress, requests FAQS, answer questions, and many other things.
I will still use DA to post pictues of the final version but if you want to see the more casual stuff you can check it out.…

You can check out some of my photos from NYCC on there as well.

The Making of Big Sister

"Building Big Sister"
With Chris Donio, Nathan Sharratt, Riki LeCotey, Catherine Jones, Duncan Shirah, Daniel Ashby, Adam Foote, Joseph Hernandez

Learn about building Big Sister from Bioshock 2 in ten days!

Nathan Sharratt was contacted by to build a wearable Big Sister, but with less than a two week lead time from project approval until deadline, it seemed an impossible task. Facing the challenge head on, he brought in some talented local sculptors and costumers to help get the job done.

Come listen to them discuss the process and various techniques on how they
approached and completed this multi-disciplined and daunting assignment, from initial concept-art-to-real-world proportion translation to engineering, sculpting, casting, leather work, metalwork, finishing and more!

I had a great time at Dragoncon, minus the lookie loo's. It was great to see more people, and show Dragoncon to someone for the first time.
Its tough to take pictures in costume but I did manage to get a few, you can check them out Here:…

I'll be a guest of Heroescon next weekend in Charlotte, NC.
I've been asked to participate in a panel 1:30pm on Sunday

COSTUME DESIGN: From The Page To The Real World
Room 209
This unique panel is the first of its kind at HeroesCon.  Comic Book artists; Brian Stelfreeze & Adam Hughes and Costumers; Riki LeCotey ("Riddle") & Chris Donio will discuss (re)designing costumes for the pages of comics, as well as costume translation from 2d to 3d, (e.g. making a costume functional and desirable). They will also be taking a look at iconic super hero costumes, movie interpretations and costume train wrecks. A must for costumers and cos-players alike!

Check it out if you get a chance!
Also be sporting a new costume on the floor, see if you can spot me!

I was previously RikiakaRiddle, the name was driving me crazy so I decided to move to this part of the internet with a slightly better name. I'm slowly moving things from there to here, as I have time, I'm really bummed out I lost all my comments and views so please feel free to leave a new comment even if you have left one before. I would greatly appreciate it.

For those of you welcome! I'm a cosplayer, I have been doing it for a number of years. My costume fandom is very large ranging from video games, to anime, comics and whatever strikes my fancy. I try to take a slightly different approach to the costumes then most people, so I hope you enjoy what I do.
